The term 'Scrubber' refers to the process of cleaning and washing the exhaust emissions from ships burning heavy oil whilst in port.
Without this process many ships would have to burn cleaner diesel fuel oil in order to meet the stringent emissions controls imposed on ships whilst along side.
RGB have recently won an order to install the multitude of cabling required for controls, power and sensors required for the systems on 10 vessels for NCL.
